Soo Jin Kim received her PhD in Political Science from the Berlin Free University in Germany, where she conducted comparative research on nuclear energy policy. Following this, Kim served as a research professor on a BK21Plus project team at Korea University, and taught courses on sustainable development, economics of climate change, and energy technology policy at Dongguk University, Korea University, Korea Cyber University. Currently, she is a visiting professor at the Graduate School of Public Administration and Legal Study at Dankook University in Korea, where she teaches a course on carbon neutral sociology. Her research focuses on nuclear safety, energy transition, green transformation politics, and democracy.
