Amanda Lanzillo is a historian of Southasia, researching artisanship and experiences of labor, technology, and social change within Indian Muslim communities. Currently a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University, she is working on a book tentatively titled Manufacturing Islamic Modernity: Muslim artisans and industrial change in colonial India.
