Janendra De Costa is the Senior Professor and Chair of Crop Science at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka. He has taught and conducted research on the agronomy, stress tolerance and climate resilience of a wide range of crops over the past three decades.
